Importing and syncing
Import Shopify locations
Bring the locations you've already set up in your Shopify admin into Shoppy Store Locator as stores.

If your stores are already set up as locations in Shopify (Settings › Locations in your Shopify admin), you can import them in a few clicks.
Import your locations
- Go to Stores.
- Click Import › From Shopify locations. You can also click Create store › Import Shopify locations.
- Tick the locations you want to add. To select them all, tick the box in the header.
- Click Import.

The stores appear on the Stores page.
What’s imported
Each location becomes a store with:
- Its name, address, and phone number from Shopify.
- Its pin on the map, from the location’s coordinates in Shopify.
- Your default trading hours from Settings.
Add the rest yourself, such as email, description, photos, tags, and the store’s own trading hours. See Add and edit a store.
Good to know
- Only locations with a verified address are imported. If you tick a location whose address Shopify hasn’t verified, it’s skipped. Check the address in your Shopify admin, then import it again.
- Importing the same location again updates its store. The store is matched by name, and its name, address, phone number, and pin are updated from Shopify. Other details you added in the app are kept.
- If you rename a location in Shopify, importing it again creates a new store. Delete the old one, or set it to Inactive.
- The import is one-off. Later changes in Shopify aren’t copied over automatically. Import again, or edit the store in the app.
- Shipping warehouses and other locations customers can’t visit show up in the list too. Only tick the stores customers can walk into.
